The 7th of November was the day: Starman the Dutch David Bowie Tribute in AFAS Live with its own show! This night also featured some of David Bowie’s band members, namely Ava Cherry, Kevin Armstrong and Carmine Rojas. Check out the aftermovie below!
Carmine Rojas was David Bowie’s regular bassist and has been on several world tours. His bass guitar can also be heard on songs such as “Let’s Dance,” “China Girl,” “Modern Love” and “Blue Jean. Kevin Armstrong played in Bowie’s band during the 1985 Live Aid performance and recorded several songs with him, including “Dancing In The Street,” along with Mick Jagger. Ava Cherry, the extravagant singer who was featured on the album ‘Young Americans’ and was for a time Bowie’s muse and lover also plays along.
